Camp Lucy is always such a wonderful venue to photograph a wedding at, and this one was no exception. So much detail and preparation went into this beautiful wedding day and you could tell. Ashleigh and her mother, Dawn own a really cool rental business called Swanky Occasions. The wedding reception was completely decked out with their goods including table settings, china, candle holders, and details of all kinds. It looked AMAZING to say the least. There are several photos below showing off Ashleigh & Austen’s creative and swanky wedding reception:) The wedding day could not have gone any smoother, thanks to Alisha with Texas Hill Country Events. She did a wonderful job with the setup of this marvelous wedding reception. Wow Factor provided the floral while Altared Weddings did an awesome job with the video, lighting, and music for the evening. I arrived about 3 hours before the wedding for the first look and wedding party photos. It was a warm day to say the least, but luckily there are many locations to choose from on the Camp Lucy grounds that offer plenty of shade for photo taking. We took most of the group shots (excluding family) prior to the wedding ceremony that took place in Ian’s Chapel. If you have visited Camp Lucy, you know all about this amazing wedding chapel. It is the centerpiece for the grounds, and it is very easy on the eyes (and the camera lens). After the wedding ceremony was over, we just had to take advantage of a few photo ops in front of it. The first image in the series is a 2 image flash composite. The shot was slightly underexposed and I supplemented a little splash of light to make Ashleigh & Austen stand out from the surrounding area. I love the way that the “streetlight style lighting” illuminates them just right. I would like to thank Ashleigh’s brother Gavin for helping me out with the portraits. These kinds of images typically require an assistant to execute, and he did a great job. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.
