JeLissa & Frank are such a cool couple. We had a great time shooting their Austin engagements last week. We started off at The Graffiti Park at Castle Hill, in Austin. If you haven’t had the chance to check it out, it is a must see. I have shot there quite a few times over the last few years, but I actually never made my way to the top. Once you get up there, the view of the city is great. It is definitely worth the trip to the top of the hill. After we took a few portraits, some graffiti artists were kind enough to lend us a can of paint, so JeLissa & Frank could tag their wedding date on one of the walls. This location was not only a great place to start off, but it holds a special place in their hearts. When Frank proposed to JeLissa, he painted in super big letters, “JeLissa will you marry me?” at the very top on the hill. I am not playing when I say that it was impressive in size and thought. I wish that I had a photo that I could share on this post! After we left the graffiti park, we made our way to Congress, The W Hotel (for the twinkle light shot), and finally The Lucky Lounge for an after dark shot with their awesome neon sign. This session was fun and original. I am very excited to shoot JeLissa & Franks wedding this September at villa St.Clair in Austin, TX. Keep an eye out for them, and enjoy this fun engagement session!
