Stephanie & Kevin got married at The Hills Country Club on October 4, 2014. Golf Course weddings are always so much fun! I loved the setting for ceremony and, there was no shortage of awesome locations for the post wedding portraits. Prior to the wedding, I had not visited this country club. The Hills is located in Lakeway, TX, and is definitely one of the nicest courses that I have had the pleasure of shooting at. Aside for the big trees, and well manicured grounds, there is a spectacular waterfall that made for some really nice photos. I had the pleasure of taking Stephanie & Kevin’s engagements prior to the wedding day. You can see them here. They are super nice and are very easy to work with. I really love shooting my clients prior to the wedding day. It not only gives me a chance to get to know them, but I have an idea of how they photograph. These two are very good in front of the camera. When it came time for their wedding day portraits, they were all over it. We took our time, and took full advantage of the awesome lighting that evening. The majority of the photos shot were done with natural light, but there was one image that is a dual image flash composite (the shot right before the bridge photo). The event coordinator, Micki helped me out with this one. The image looks quite a bit different that the rest in the series, and I love how it turned out!
