Sarah & Carl got married on September 26, 2015 at the amazing Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls located in Spring Branch, TX. This was my second time out at this venue, and it is just as impressive the second time around! The day started off great. I arrived about 2 hours prior to the ceremony for some getting ready photos of the ladies as well as a few shots of the guys. This group was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed photographing them throughout the day. Sarah & Carl are a very nice couple couple, and are awesome in front of the camera. I had an opportunity to get to know the both of them during their engagement & bridal sessions prior to the wedding. I always love shooting for my clients before their big day.
I love the way that Sarah & Carl’s wedding day collection turned out. The first image in the series in a naturally lit shot taken right around sunset time. I shot it with a long lens giving the photo a really shallow depth of field. I always love that look for portraits! The photos taken in the field off to the right of the ceremony site turned out awesome as well. It was really hard narrowing down the shots for this post! Towards the end of the reception I grabbed Sarah & Carl for one last portrait down on the bridge under the twinkle lights. I backlit them with a flash giving the image a really cool look. It is the last photo in the series. I would like to give a shot out to Kali Measures for doing a wonderful job coordinating the day. The wedding ran really smooth!
