Hailey and Jared got married on February 18, 2017 at the one and only Lost Mission in Spring Branch, TX. This is a special blog post for me. I have been shooting weddings out at Lost Mission for quite some time now. Over the course of the last few years, I have got to know Hailey quite well. She is the venue manager at Lost Mission, and we have worked tons of wedding together. When Hailey asked me to shoot her wedding, I was honored and jumped at the opportunity. Leading up to the wedding I had a chance to shoot both Hailey & Jared’s engagement as well as Hailey’s super fun bridal portraits. Both sessions were a blast, and I love how the shots turned out.
Upon arriving at Lost Mission, we set up Jared & Hailey’s first look, and knocked out all bridal party shots prior to the ceremony time. One of the many benefits of shooting a wedding planners wedding, is that she knows exactly what to do to make the day run smooth. The first look cleared up a ton of time for post wedding photos, as well as being able to maximize the reception time. The ballroom design was absolutely stunning. Lost Mission unveiled their newest addition to the reception space. The new chandelier that hangs right in the center of the ballroom is truly impressive. I feel it makes the space so much more intimate, by lowering the ceiling and creating the low light ambience. I love it! I can imagine that future Lost Mission couples would want to include it in their wedding.
