Madeline & Wilson got married at Lost Mission on October 17, 2015. I loved everything about this wedding. Being a photographer at such an important life event is a huge responsibility. When I walk away from great wedding day, I have this overpowering feeling of appreciation and accomplishment. This wedding definitely had that effect on me. The moments that were captured that afternoon put a smile on my face, and made the editing process as enjoyable as taking the photos. It is very difficult for me to select a favorite shot from this collection, because I have so many of them. The ones that first stood out to me were definitely the candid shots taken in the bridal suite. The look on the bridesmaids faces when they see Madeline for the first time is priceless. Every part of a wedding day has its highlight moments, but the ceremony is what it is all about. There is so much joy in these photos, that is is almost impossible not to smile while looking at them. The shot of Madeline and her mother as she walks down the aisle is just about the happiest photo I have ever seen. I made sure and position myself so I could capture Wilson’s expression right as they open the double doors to the chapel. The shot was a success! The waterworks were on and I have the proof. After the ceremony was up, I shot all bridal party shots, family photos, and Madeline & Wilson’s portraits. Afterwards we headed to the reception. It was a blast! The dance floor was packed the entire time.
