Rancho Mirando Wedding Photography : Tina and Butch

Tina and butch got married at Rancho Mirando on April 5, 2014.  This was a relaxing afternoon at one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in Central Texas.  Here is a little about the venue (taken from their website) :  Rancho Mirando is a 50 acre luxury guest ranch and event venue located in the beautiful Texas hill country just an hour from Austin, Texas. Situated along a ridge known as the Devil’s Backbone, Rancho Mirando or “the looking ranch” was named for its breathtaking views overlooking the Wimberley valley.  Standing on the porch of the 4,000 square foot Spanish mission-style home with its clear Texas skies and rolling hills, it’s quite easy to see why this jewel is in constant demand as the perfect hill country site for lavish events and weddings.

The lighting was really nice all day, and the conditions were prefect for some flash composite work.  The first image in the series is a 3 image composite.  I used 2 separate light sources (one over the top of Tina & Butch and one on the bottom side of Tina’s dress).  Once they were all layered together, the shot came out super cool.  There are a total of 4 composite shots in this slideshow.  They are easy to identify, and are a signature technique that I love to use.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.  Alisha with Texas Hill Country Events did an awesome job of coordinating, and everything could not have gone any smoother.  Enjoy Tina & butch’s wedding Day preview!
