I love this couple! Ryan and Claudia are quite possibly two of the most likable people I have ever met. I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to come out to DC for their engagement session. We started off next to the Washington Monument, made or way to the Lincoln Memorial, and finished up with some cherry blossom portraits across from the Jefferson Memorial. After the shoot they treated me to dinner at this super cool sushi place called Sticky Rice. There we had beer, saki, sushi, and….wait for it… tater-tots! 🙂 What a lovely day all around.
We had originally planned to shoot on Tuesday, but a storm was headed in town, so we shot a day early. They picked me up from the airport, and we started right away. The next day, I went all around the city. Despite the rain, I saw quite a bit. In the process, 2 umbrellas got turned inside out from the wind. DC is an amazing place, and I am definitely wanting to head back out there some time in the near future. Thank you again for such a great experience! Enjoy the photos, and please feel free to share them with everyone!
