Thurman’s Mansion is a one of a kind hill country wedding venue. It is located on the same property as the epic Saltlick BBQ, in Driftwood, TX. At the top of the hill, you can see The Saltlick, as well as the vineyards that make this location so picturesque. I love shooting out there not only because the air smells like open pit BBQ, but because it is clearly beautiful. It is very convenient to not have to venture very far from the wedding reception to get some awesome bridal party or wedding day portraits. There is a big open lawn right out front of the mansion, perfect for family photos, and the vineyards are the perfect location for sunset wedding portraits of the bride and groom. I love the rustic and country feel of the surrounding hills as well as the large trees located next to the vineyards. It really is difficult to take a bad photo on the property. The images below speak for themselves and really showcase what this amazing wedding venue has to offer.
