Lyn and Justin’s Creekside wedding was on February 10, 2018. The ceremony took place at Chapel Dulcinea and the reception followed at Creekside Pavilion. I have shot at both of these venues multiple times over the course of my career. I live very close to them, so naturally they have become frequented locations for me. Chapel Dulcinea is a really special place. The chapel sits overlooking the best that the Texas hill country has to offer. Lyn and Justin arrived about 45 minutes prior to the ceremony for some getting ready shots. I seriously love the photos of Lyn in the bridal suite. Her cathedral veil made for some really compelling images. The side window allowed just enough light in to illuminate Lyn while taking care of her final touches. After I finished up with her I headed to the grooms suite for a few shots of Justin and his guys. I was going for some dramatic lighting in this collection. Everything was shot with a 50mm lens almost wide open and I used a relatively low ISO as to minimize the ambient light. The ceremony went exactly as planned and the photos turned out spectacular. After we wrapped up the wedding, we shot all family photos as well as Lyn and Justin’s wedding day portraits. The first image in the series is a 12 image panorama with a really impressive piece of driftwood in the foreground. You could literally print this photo as large as a school bus if you wanted to! After we wrapped up their wedding day portraits we headed to Creekside for their reception. I love shooting in this space. The metal ceilings with he combination of the chandeliers make the whole space pop! They added a really awesome vintage car in the back of the venue that all couples getting married get to sign. I made sure to get a really awesome portrait of Lyn and Justin in front of it. It is the last image in the series. I am super excited to share this collection with you. Enjoy and feel free to show your friends and family! Many congrats to Lyn & Justin!
