Melissa & tom got married on January 27, 2017 at Brodie Homestead in Austin, TX. This was my first time visiting this venue, and I really enjoyed it. This is an indoor facility that is truly stunning. Here is a snippet taken from their website: The unbelievable 38 foot wooden gambrel roof ceilings, adorned with six stunning crystal chandeliers, create a spectacular setting. White draping adds a touch of softness to the barn. Natural elements of rich barn wood and white limestone combine to provide a rustic, yet chic, opulence. Brodie Homestead‘s size and casual beauty are breathtaking. The stunning barn has been expertly designed to accommodate events of varied sizes. The Brodie Homestead is large enough to hold a grand gala or reception, but can also be broken up into smaller areas with gorgeous white draping, making it perfect for an intimate celebration or multi-use event.
The barn’s immense indoor space allows the Brodie Homestead to serve as an all-weather, all-season venue.
I arrived about to hours early for Melissa & Toms first look. We took all bridal party photos as well as their wedding day portraits prior to the ceremony. One of my favorite elements of this venue are the large chandeliers that fill the space with golden light. During the formal dances, I shot towards the back of the venue and got some really cool looking reflections against the glass. I backlit the dance floor, as to not take away from the ambient light that was available. The shots turned out really wonderful, and I am excited to share them with you all. This was a really fun group, and I loved photographing them. Enjoy the collection, and feel free to share the images with your fiends and family members. Many congrats to Melissa & Tom!
