Blake and Heidi got married on September 19, 2015 at the Hideout on the Horseshoe in New Braunfels, TX. This wedding had it all, literally. Let me go ahead and name a few things that stood out in my mind. Pirates, zombies, tubing, whiskey shots, a real working blunderbuss (muzzle-loading firearm), skulls, 2 huge dogs, bow ties, a kilt, hula hoops, & a dodgeball. Thats not everything, but you get the picture. I have known Blake all my life. We met in elementary school, and have remained in contact ever since. I was honored when he reached out to me to be a part of his and Heidi’s wedding day. I knew right away that this was going to be a one of a kind celebration. The day went by so smooth. Blake & Heidi are very easygoing, and the day reflected that. They wanted for everyone to enjoy the day without stress, and they made it happen. When Blake & Heidi reached out to me for their wedding, they did not have a venue in mind. They let me know what they were looking for, and I suggested that they check out Hideout on the Horseshoe. It was a perfect fit for them. The riverfront venue not only offers some of the best photo-ops available, but it’s a mellow place that has all that central Texas has to offer. Its a gorgeous location with a relaxed vibe that very few venues can match. Two days after their wedding, I met Blake & Heidi at the Lazy L&L Campground for their after session. I LOVE how these photos turned out! Make sure and check out the last shots in the series for some really fun portraits. I was literally smiling all day while I was editing them. I want to give a shout out to Natasha with Clearly Classy Events & Dj Ross with Look No Further Entertainment. They both did an awesome job and kept the day on track.
Blake and Heidi are two of the coolest people I know. Here is their wedding day in all of its glory. Enjoy!
