Lauren & John got married at Vista West Ranch on December 12, 2015. This was a gorgeous wedding day that came together perfectly. I started the day by meeting Lauren and her bridesmaids at Hotel Ella for some getting ready photos before heading to Vista West Ranch. It was a wet day, and to be honest, I was fearful that it would be rained out and the ceremony would need to take place inside. Luckily the weather cooperated and the ceremony went as planned. Upon arrival at Vista West Ranch, I took some shots of the wedding party (separately) prior to ceremony time. It was one of those days where the overcast provided a wonderful diffused look to the images. The lighting was very even and soft, making the style consistent throughout the entire ceremony. Scott Payne was the officiant on the day of, and he did a wonderful job, as always. After the ceremony finished up, we took all family photos, wedding party shots, and some really gorgeous portraits of Lauren & John. Since it was such a rainy morning, we couldn’t go too far into the brush, so we stayed on the back lawn for the majority of the session. The shots turned out great! Not only was the lighting exceptional, but these two are awesome in front of the camera. I had a chance to photograph Lauren & John before the wedding day during their engagement portraits. I knew that they were going to be a breeze to photograph this time around, so I had been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time.
