Samantha & Tyler got married on February 7, 2015 at the amazing Lodge at Bridal Veil Falls located in Spring Branch, TX. This was my first time out at this venue, and I must say that I am very impressed! I had heard a lot about this spot leading up to this date, and I was really looking forward to shooting out there. The venue was very well thought out, and is a wonderful place for a wedding. My favorite part of the Lodge is the bridal suite and the reception site. I love the size and layout of both spaces. It in amazing location for a picturesque party! Samantha & Tyler are a very nice couple couple, and their wedding was beautiful. I had an opportunity to get to know that both of them during their engagement & bridal sessions prior to the wedding. I always love shooting for my clients before their big day.
I love the way that Samantha & Tyler’s wedding day collection turned out. The first image in the series in a two image flash composite taken right around sunset time. The image was shot at 200mm with an old school 80-200 Nikon lens that rarely sees the light of day. The non treated glass gives the best colors out there, but is a little tricky to use. I am super happy that I broke it out and gave it a spin. I would like to give a special shout out to my lovely wife Kim for helping me out with this awesome wedding. She did a fabulous job as always!
