Alexis & Ryan had their Horseshoe Bay Resort Wedding on May 5 2018. This was such a fun day to be a part of. Their wedding day started at St. Paul The Apostle Church located nearby in Horseshoe Bay, TX. This was a full mass ceremony in one of the prettiest churches I have shot in. The panoramic views of Lake Travis really made for some spectacular ceremony photos. All of the window light is a rarity when it comes to Catholic churches. After the ceremony was wrapped up I shot all family photos before making our way to Horseshoe Bay Resort for Alexis & Ryan’s wedding reception. I love shooting at this amazing place. I actually shot out there a week before for Carli & Javier’s wedding. When shooting weddings at the same location, I always approach them with the intention of creating a collection that is unique to my clients. I am certainly not a fan of recreating the same images for everyone. Alexis & Ryan were a ton of fun to photograph, and I seriously love how their images turned out. It was really hard narrowing down the shots for this one, but after quite a bit of time, these are a few of my favorites. The first image in the series sums these guys up. They are as fun as can be, and are truly in love with each other. I have photographed them in the past, so I knew going into this wedding that they were going to be a breeze to shoot. They came to the table with ideas and needed little direction from me. They are naturals in front of the camera! I really enjoyed being a part of Alexis & Ryans big day.
