Vickie and James got married at The South Congress Hotel on March 30, 2018. I seriously love this hotel, and as soon as it opened for business I knew that I needed to shoot out there. Their wedding was such a great fit for this space. This is a unique couple, and I think its awesome that they chose this location for their big day. I arrived a couple hours before the wedding for some getting ready shots as well as James & Vickies first look. After we wrapped up their first look there was a great cocktail hour and a beautiful ceremony in the courtyard right next to Otoko. I must mention that if you haven’t been to this sushi restaurant, its a must do. You can read a review of it here. After the ceremony was wrapped up, I took Vickie and James down South Congress for some killer portraits. South Congress at night is awesome. There are an abundance of neon lights, and the southside view of the city is legendary. I opened up this post with a shot of Vickie and James crossing SOCO like the badasses they are. I’m proud of this shot, and love that they totally owned that street for a hot minute. We hopped around the strip and then wrapped things up just in time for the reception. There were a lot of really fun people at this wedding, and there was no shortage of dancing. Once the dance floor was open all bets were off. I really loved being a part of this wedding, and am thrilled to share it right here on my blog. Enjoy the post and feel free to share it with your friends and family members. Many congrats to Vickie & James!
